Team Building Tips

I hold weekly meeting with different departments, yet I have very limited amount of time. Usually meeting take somewhere between 30 to 60 min. I'm looking to hold these meetings in less than 30 min.
Any suggestions?

This is very important that when you go for any meeting then you have all the important document and a ready presentation for the meeting. When you go for meeting with client then prepare all the presentation and problem solving ideas in advance that is much time consuming. When you know that for what purpose the meeting is organized then you already know that what type of question will ask by the clients so you prepare for that.

Send out Powerpoints before hand. Let your team familiarize themselves with the topics. Go over the broad topics for the first half, then open up the second half to questions - you'll find that Q & A often covers the "meat" of topics that you might have droned on needlessly about before.

I think this is really a solid approach. Psychological studies have shown that the average person cannot stay captivated on a single subject for more than 45 minutes without a break - so your 30 minute meetings would work nicely into that.
